Classics - Always Timeless, Always Perfection, and Always a Good Purchase.

A friend of mine got me thinking about classic fashion and what it means to fashion, and to my wardrobe.  According to Wikipedia, Classic means something that is a perfect example of a particular style, something of lasting worth or with a timeless quality, which couldn't be said better.  Classic pieces are those very few designs that survived the fast changing waves of fashion, and made impressions that cannot be easily erased.  They provoke nostalgia and inspire creativity at the same time.  They can go with anything and everything that is currently trendy.  This means that if a classic piece made to your wardrobe at some point, it is probably one of the last things that you will ever consider parting with.  So, when it comes to classic pieces, if possible, buy the best of the best because they will last, both physically and stylistically.

When thinking about classics, Burberry trench coats come to my mind immediately.  They were in fashion, 5 years ago, 2 years ago, and surprise, this year too!  So they are definitely worth shoving out the big bucks for.  I like the trench coats in neutral colors, such as beige or cream, because they make you look more approachable.  However, if you are looking for something with an impact, go with black because they make you look lean and mean!

I will post more classics findings in the future...

P.S I am loving Emma Watson in Burberry's ads this season.
